Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Who We Are

Who We Are

woodsEnd has become a congregation of about 30 people.

We are seeking some different ground, different direction in the face of the apparent failure of Evangelicalism to produce spiritual people by and large. We still do some of what people might call “praise and worship”, but we are exploring things that have long been a part of Christian mystical tradition, such as contemplation and centering prayer.

We have replaced the first 20 minutes of our services with “quiet time” for this purpose, but also have our chat room open at this time for coffee and fellowship if contemplation isn’t what you want that day. The fellowship of the people is not considered a “downgrade”, as it was critical for the early Christian community as well.

wE are becoming. wE are searching. wE are desiring. Together. And you are welcome.
